[LL - Lock Day08: The Game]

Neat game.

Again, as I expected, this submission wasn't anything spectacular, or amazing, but it was good. It was more than your regular spam submission for the day, and at the same time it showed off some LL spirit. Which is always good. All in all, a well made submission, maybe some highscores, or a banner saying happy lock day, or something would be a good idea.

Now, when I see this game, and I play it, it isn't anything special, no doubt, but it is quite good overall. For the most part, the game is a lot of fun and the graphics and audio that come with it are solid, if not top notch. The gameplay is a lot of fun, and I enjoyed it very much. It was easy to learn and even if it didn't really reward me or compel me to finish off the game I enjoyed it anyway. Nice work.

Wow, lol.

Wow that sure was fun, lol. Not only did I manage to save the universe, but I did it in record time too, wow, I feel great about that. No, but seriously, you actually had some good points with this. The menu was crazy and way out there, and eye grabbing. And so was the game itself, for the brief seconds I played it. The effects were great and if you had actually worked on it some, you might have had something good. Nevertheless, I'd have to say that the shortness of it hurt this submission greatly.

Well I can defiantly tell you that there has never been anything like this submitted in the portal before. Nonetheless the submission was funny in a way, even if it wasn't particularly good, or effortful in anyway. Meh, it's not horrible.

Repetitious, boring dull... etc.

Repetitious, boring, dull, use whatever words you want, as long as they have that general meaning. I found this submission to be exactly that. Boring, dull and repetitious. All it was was a simple shoot defend game, which isn't bad in its own rights, but is really not anything to enjoy, in anyway at all. The graphics were made up of four or five clocks and a black background. Again, minimal effort, to say the least. Not a fun game, in anyway.

Cool.

Well I have to tell ya, there really isn't anything to great about this submission. That's not to say that it isn't a bad submission, in any means, but it's not original in anyway. I liked how you used the concept of balloons and that sort of stuff, but it still had a feeling of unoriginality and dullness. Especially with Micheal Swain's submission :P All in all, not a bad submission, but something to write home about.

Your generic point and click game.

THis is your generic point and click game when you think about it, and really what's wrong with that? This game is done so well that it really shouldn't even matter. The graphics are solid, and the story is something out of this world, it's interesting to see just how this game plays out and all in all it's a lot of fun. Good work.

Interesting.

Well it was a very interesting game nonetheless. It had the Halloween type feel to it, no doubt, but somewhere a long the line it kind of lost its feel. I mean if you're supposed to be death, than I understand things falling in other things, and things falling, but thing dropping in randomly, I don't think so. Also the fact that you could use tab took away from the game experience. All in all, despite these things, you didn't have a bad game, but not a good one either.

Well it's okay.

In this day and age it's hard to find something uniquely original and fun at the same time. It's hard to go out and create something that really blows away the competition and shows just how good a game is. And this doesn't do that, at all. In a couple of words, this is just a simple kick up game with some frills. And in the end that isn't bad, but isn't going to garner any great scores.

Creative.

Well I'd have to say that this is a very creative game, to say the least of all. I can't be helped to go down through the entire game, with all of its levels, and what not, but what I did see in the levels I played was something different; creative, original, special, even. Nontheless, the graphics were solid, and smooth and did their jobs to perfection, exactly what you need. The gameplay was fun, and interesting, and was made well. All in all good stuff here, front page worthy, indeed.
