Not really funny in any way, but I like the cartoon style of the comic. It could use a little bit more of a fleshing out, or some sort of story in general in order to have some sort of quality to it though.

THE MAN and what you can do about him is a comic I do over at http://evvieco.com/tm and it is more story centric, done in the same style as the strips I do with mostly the same characters.
Pretty epic submission here, I liked how the background wasn't that well detailed, since it helped to add to the epicness of the bear. Very cool
hiya! and thanks :) I would have liked to spend more time on these, but I had to do it for every shot in the animation so could only have about half an hour on each one.
Very cool background like submission here. I like the bright colors of the character's eyes and mouth. And the octopus in the back is also very well detailed. I found the submission to be a little dark though, but that might just be my computer.
thx!. yea is pretty dark, but may be is your screen that make darker.
No offense but this is one of those "wtf?" type of submissions, not that it isn't made well mind you.
thank you for your response, but "wtf submission??" it is art, and it definite caught your attention did it not?
While I love the drawing here, I do have to say there's some anatomical errors in regards to his eye, which appears to be floating in mid-air beside his head. I don't know about you, but that probably doesn't make a whole lot of sense in terms of being normal, or human etc.
Of course that makes no sense. That was my motive ;)
Cool.
Well this submission isn't something spectacular by any means, what I can tell you though is that the coloring and the brightness of the submission was nice. The juxtaposiiton of the light background behind the more solid colors of the dragon was a nice addition as well as it really helped you notice the quality of the dragon. As for the dragon itself, it was done immaculately and if there's anything that might take away from the submission, it might be the lack of detail in the background, as opposed to the dragon itself. Nice work.
Thank you for the critique, it will help me remember to add more detail to the background of things for backgrounds are not my strongpoint but I am starting to work on them more and more. Thanks again. <3
Cool.
What I like about this submission first of all is the title and the fact that you can't tell very well what it's supposed to be. The second thing I really like about this submission is the color scheme of it and the fact that it stays consistant throughout. What I did not like was that for some reason you decided to make the background into stripes at the end, and I found that rather lazy, intentional or not. Overall, not a bad submission though .
Yeah, I think I didn´t put enough effort in there : /
I will try harder next, Thanks C:
Okay I guess.
Well I suppose this really isn't a submission in general, I understand the purpose of it and all, but since you submitted it to the portal, it technically can be considered a submission. I personally did not like this submission, it did not have any style, feeling or anything. There was a distinct lack of background as well, which I was disappointed in seeing. I did like, I guess, the way you could see everything on its own, but it just felt weird looking at this submission.
This review truly is useless.
I wonder if every one else in the contest will have their mandatory art portal texture submission grilled in this fashion.
