[Pico Day: Blam The Virus]

Well...

This game reminds me of some of the old games that NG has had in the past. Some of the old, flash 4 games that is. I mean, what were you thinking when you made this game? The graphics were rather plain and undetailed and for the most part, this submission was unfun and had no real point to it. Not a great game.

Fun.

The thing that pops out at me when I play this game is the frame rate of the game. A lot of the time people will make fighting games that are just massively long to play and a lot of the time they play slow, but this one did not have that problem. The game played smoothly and it was a lot of fun in general to play. Nice work, the graphics were quite good too. Good job.

[Pico & the Mental Menace]

Nice.

Although the whole idea of this submission isn't that new, it's nice to see some sort of a follow up towards the original submission. Nontheless, it wasn't that bad at all, the graphics were cool, and for the most part I enjoyed this submission. The new character added an extra bit of depth to the submission and I really liked it because of that. Nice work, the subtitles weren't a bad touch ether.

[Zombie Survival Quiz]

When I start quizzes I always wonder what will set this apart from the rest of the crap in today's portal. And although this isn't a lot different then some of the stuff in today's portal it does provide some good rewards. The fact that you actually get graded is a really nice touch to this submission, although the rest seems a bit much. It would have been nice to see some sort of special way of answering the questions or having something different then just questions. Simply put, because its so long winded that I was actually pondering if I should continue after a while, I did and was pleasantly surprised, but still found it a bit shallow.

The graphics in this game are rather shallow too, but what do you expect out of a quiz anyway? It would have been nice to see some sort of animation or something, still though. As for the gameplay itself, it was okay, but again it took so long that it really discouraged people from playing it, at least in my opinion. I suppose there is nothing wrong with being complete, but still.

The good.
1. Complete- basically has all the questions you'd want.
2. Reward- the grades are pretty cool, even if it really isn't worth doing in the end.
3. The style and demenor given fits well with the whole zombie topic.

The bad.
1. Long winded- it took way to long to finish this quiz, in my opinon.
2. Lack of variety- the same thing over and over is boring.
3. Boring- if I ask myself if I should finish it, then it's way to boring.

Basically, this was not a bad game by any means, but it really did not set itself apart from the rest of the quizzes in the portal. It's made well, it's just not really new in anyway.

Would I recommend this game? I would probably not simply because the reward did not really make the whole quiz worth it. Not only that, but there really did not seem like that much of a great audience this could cater too. Simply because it is far to long. In short, this submission was good, but it felt like it just had to much. Kinda' like a person who copies notes word for word, instead of his own way. Not a great submission.

Not good.

What you have basically created here is a lame 30 second game that really does not seem to be a lot of fun. It does not provide any entertainment value at all and it really isn't fun. The graphics are sub par overall, and so is the gameplay. The frame rate needs to be fixed and it really simply put, does not work. Meh.

Good stuff.

Now this is what I would call a good submission in terms of entertainment. It might not have had the greatest graphics ever and it might not have had the greatest story ever, but it provided some good entertainment, and I really enjoyed it. The graphics again, were not great, but they weren't bad ether, they did the job they had to do, and they did not do it bad. For the most part a good job.

[Pico of the Dark Ages]

Nice game.

When I see a game of this calibre I always enjoy it. The graphics in this game were smooth and very nice. The storyline really played into the gameplay well and you would have really enjoyed it if you played the game yourself. It's easy to play, but does get harder as you progress, a good middle in terms of difficulty. For the most part, a great game, I enjoyed it.

I guess the problem with multiplayer games is that you need multiple players, and judging from this, there does not seem to be any. The graphics were not that great, but they weren't bad ether. As for the gameplay itself, you would think there would be at least one other person there, but there was not. Not to mention the lack of Ai VS computer playability. A bit disappointing.

[Pico's Surprise Party]

This is actually quite good.

When I opened up this game I was expecting something less than great, you know just another one of those lame submissions that was good overall, but just another average submission for the contest, but this was actually quite good. The graphics were detailed and cartoony and the gameplay was a lot of fun in general. The intro was good too. Nice work.

Good.

Again this is a great submission by any means. The gameplay is filled to the brim with some great stuff and I personally like it, but there seems to be something missing from it. Maybe it's the speed of the gameplay, maybe it's something else. Other than that though you have created a very good game with tons of stuff you could play for hours. Nice work.
