[BoM Beat Battle]

Actually this was really good.

Even though there might only have been a couple of arenas and a couple of characters the game itself was a lot of fun. The graphics were cool, and really did well overall. The gameplay was a lot of fun, and to incorporate it with the whole fighting thing was a really unique and original idea. Some nice work was put into this submission.

Well, you got the whole gore thing down.

Lol, wow, you really did get the whole gore/ extreme thing down. The whole idea of this game is a lot of fun and is cool to see. The graphics in the game are amazingly detailed and the death pictures are amazingly gory and extreme. The game itself is a lot of fun and I can see that you put a lot of work into it. Truly some nice work with this submission.

It wasn't hard.

It might not have been hard, but I still managed to lose, lol. The graphics in this game are really detailed, they aren't something amazing, but they are quite cool to watch. The gameplay is really easy and I love it because of that. I really enjoyed this submission for a lot of reasons, and the gameplay was one of them. You made a short, fun game, good job.

Still a lot like guitar hero.

I understand it might be hard to make something that isn't like guitar hero with a game like this, but still, you should try. It was a nice thing to see all those different options though. The story option was a nice touch and it was actually quite a lot of fun once you got the hang of it. The game itself wasn't to hard, and for the most part it, it was fun. Good job.

A lot of variety.

The good thing about this game is the large amount of variety in the submission. It's fun to see how well you have made this game and it's simply a lot of fun. The graphics might not be amazing, but they are by far, spotless and crystal clear. The gameplay is addictive and for the most part, a lot of fun. Something I really liked in this game was the first minigame. Good work.

Something that takes some work.

If you really want to do well in this game you really have to work hard to keep up with the beat. Even with all the fancy settings and stuff, it still manages to be quite hard, but I know this game and I know that it can be fun. There wasn't much in the way of graphics, but the gameplay was done really niceley, and you can overlook the fact that its exactly like guitar hero, because it does play well. For the most part, a fun game.

Fun.

When it comes right down to it that is what this game is. It is a lot of fun. Sure the submission itself was not very original, and looked irriley like Guitar hero, but it still managed to provide a lot of fun in general. The graphics in the game were really quite good too, sure they did not overwhelm me at all, but it was a good one nonetheless. As for the gameplay, it seemed a bit shallow, I mean pressing buttons to kill enemies is all great and fun, but it just seems so unoriginal and it really kinda' hurts the submission. What I do like about this submission though, is the mood that it gives off. The whole fast paced mood that the background gives off is really a nice thing to see and I really enjoy it because of that.

The good
1. Fast paced action- something everyone can enjoy.
2. Easy to pick up- some games take ages to learn, this one does not.
3. Not horrible graphics- it doesn't look like my ass, which is nice.

The bad
1. Well, it seems a lot like guitar hero- look a likes aren't good.
2. No motivation- I mean why would I want to play this game?

For the most part the fact that you did end up adding the whole hippo thing to the game is really an original way of playing this game, but it just does not make up for it in my opinion. It's easy to pick up though and that's always nice, if I wanted I could learn this game in five minutes, flat.

Would I recommend this game though? Ya, probably I would. I mean, it has all the makings of a good game. It's easy to learn, it's catchy, and most of all, it has some awesome songs. Anyone who would want to play this game would, and would enjoy it.

Overall- 8/10 stars. It's a great game, but it has some aesthetic faults that really can't be overlooked.

Actually, quite hard.

That's what this submission is, its tremendously hard, maybe its the lag or something, but it takes so long to reset after an attack and with all the enemies there it becomes nearly impossible to actually win. The graphics and intro itself was a nice touch, but as for the gameplay itself I really did not like it that much. Good effort, just a bit lousy in the end.

If I wanted...

If I wanted guitar hero I would have bought the game to be honest with you. I mean I did not like this game that much, maybe it was my lack of ability or maybe it was because of the exact same gameplay as guitar hero, but whatever it was, I did not really like it. The gra[hics were rather average and did not help the submission at all, and that's really what this submission would have needed to have a good game. Not something I enjoyed.

Alright.

Maybe in my haste I skipped the tutorial and went straight to the game, but whatever. This game was not bad at all actually, this was really good. The graphics were clear, concise and provided that needed bit of detail to the game. The gameplay was unique and fun too, it provided some challenges, but at the same time a lot of fun too, once you did learn how to play. A great game for sure.
