Neat

Well this submission clearly doesn't have a lot of photoshop type of deelios to it, what it does have though is skill. The talent level to be able to create this with your pencil alone does require some skill, but I found myself disliking the submission a lot more than actually liking it. I found in a lot of the picture you used way too much black, or darkness in general and it seemed a lot lazier than it had to be. Other than that I mean it's a neat little art piece.

Colorful

I'm not personally a large fan of anime style art pieces, simply because I find the submissions always gravitate towards the eyes, and because of that nothing else is worked on. That did not happen here though, I personally liked just the white skin in general, it seemed realistic and believable, as did the shaded parts. The only I might not have liked about this submission was the uncreative background, it might have been better if this character had been in a situation with other people for example. Otherwise, not a bad submission.

Oh wow, thanks so much! Unfortunetly, there wasn't a lot I could do about the BG as it's a required thing (this is an entry into a group) so I could only use the default background. However, thank you very much for such a kind review!

Mesmerising.

What an odd submission this is. The first thing I obviously notice is the crazy eyes. Almost like you're literally falling into them. As for the rest of the submission, I didn't really like it. The eyes were the centerpiece and it did what it had to do, but that was really it. I found the color change in the corner and the general noir feel of the submission to also do very little. I don't know not a bad submission, but not a great one either.

This submission really isn't all that special to be honest with you. Most of the coloring is very average compared to other submissions and the lack of background seems lazy on your part. I notice for example that the bells on her head seem to be misshaped in some places, and aren't full circles. It's a neat little submission, but again nothing spectacular in anyway.

I can tell a lot of work was put into it.

I can tell like with a lot of submissions, that a lot of work was put into it. I did find the rather dull design to be a bit average in my opinion, I know the difficulty in carving wood into something really special so I'm not going to dock too many points for that, but the white background with black dot in front just leaves a little to be desired. I did like the green and orange base to it, I found it added a nice touch of color in an otherwise red filled animal. I played Pikman back a few years, and I was never really a fan to be honest, but that doesn't stop me from recognizing what this is an giving you kudos for making it! Nice work here.

A bit dark.

Maybe it's just me, but I found this to be a bit too dark for my tastes. I did like how you used the white to really emphasize the angel's limbs and teeth, but I didn't like how the dark acrylic paper really clashed with the character itself. Some parts of the design also seem a bit rudimentary, almost like stray lines with no end, I notice this especially in between the creatures legs, where the lines there don't really fit in well with the rest of the submission. All in all, a good work here no doubt, but nothing spectacular.

Thanks for the constructive criticism. It makes a nice change from being called a gay or something and being told to die. Truth be told, I'm somewhat of a beginner in this painting lark and I have no idea what I'm doing. But thanks again for the comment.

[Alien vs. Robots vs. Humans]

Very nice.

The first part about this submission that you notice is the various colors around it. I personally like how the colors really do well to emphasis the overall action in the submission. I like how well you were able to draw the bullet firing as well, the duel action bullets that fly aren't merely bullets, but an actual ray of light into the oncoming monster robot enemy, and that's really a cool thing about this submission. What I didn't like was the blurryness of the submission, likely due to a camera shaking at the time, or some other problem, I found it took away from the giant alien in the background and made me dislike the design of the alien in the long run. Overall, considering this was done by hand, I'm really impressed, fully colored and fully detailed this really is a nice submission.

I scrolled down to look at this picture and I didn't see the large breasts before looking at the rest, and I literally exclaimed "wtf!". Lol, with this submission I like that glow feel you added to it, it adds a bit more emphasis to the character's face and really makes you notice how colorfilled the eyes of the character are. One thing I actually didn't like were the large breasts, they don't really fit in well with the rest of the character and actually take up more than half the length of the submission. Overall, meh, I don't know what to say about this one, it really isn't overly special in any way.

A bit odd.

I don't know about this submission, some parts of the submission look like old timey cartoons, back in the 90s, especially around the eyes, while other parts are just regular coloring. I didn't really like this submission either, I mean I can't even tell what it is exactly! The box on the bottom that says Will I noun, or something to that extent really doesn't help me much in terms of references, so I'm left at a blank, looking at a rather poor overall submission. A lack of background hurts this submission, and the odd thing that it actually is also hurts this submission.

Funny.

Heh, this is a nice submission because it makes you laugh a bit as well. It's a small comic so there's not a lot of things of worth, but what I do like is the shading on the fridge itself. It adds a sort of sinister feel to it, and when he transforms, it really jumps out at you because of the change in color scheme and overall shade. All in all I liked this submission, but without a real suitable background I found this submission to be a bit dull at best.
