[Textbook Turret]

Wow.

Wow, do you literlary do this in class or somthing, all these submsisions like this seems to gauge towards class room things, and using it in the class room. Its boring in class, but who would waste their time on this, I certinley wouldent. The graphics of this were simple, but orginal which is nice. Although everything else is dull and not that great, my only advice is to combine all of these, instead of making them all seperatley make them all together and make a menu for it, that would probebley get you a better score. Anyway pretty average submission.

Yeah, uh NO, I DIDN'T CREATE these in school, but I used to USE them there, when I was BORED in 6th GRADE. I am now going on to college, and I am reminiscing thise wonderful creations!

Boring.

The first thing that comes to mind, when I see this and play it is: boring. The gameplay is just plain dull, the ddr style of play is just way overused and isnt even slightley altered and just makes for an unorginal game. As average as the graphics were they were good enough to be looked at and used effectivley in the game (although that shouldent have been hard to do.) Other then that upside this really is a boring game, with no replay value and no real fun to it. Havent you seen some of the other submissions? Alot of them already do somthing like this. Okay, but dull game.

How does a submission like this have such a high score?? Anybody could have done somthing like this and it couldent have taken you long to do. Nonetheless, the menus looked very nice and was a positive reinfocement on an otherwise crappy game. The only thing, in my opinon that would make this worthy of a score like this if you actually animated the story at the same time, flash is for animating not making paragraphs I could do with books. Poor submission.

well, i accept your comments, but seems your the only negative response, see newgrounds isnt about who can do what, its about a showcase, improving and learning to an extent, so where i am glad you took the time to review the game, i cant take on board meaningless bragging about YOUR abilities seeing as you are the only person to say anything bad.

Same thing...

Its always the same thing with these "music" submissions. Cant you make somthing at least half orginal? This is the same as any ddr game, or already countless others in this contest, the only differnce is that instead of letters its just a bunch of picks (I geuss..) Whats so fun about that? The graphics were nice, but nothing great and can certinley be tons better. Okay game, but really no replay value.

[Basics of Walking Cycles]

Basics..

Well I always see tutorials that are light years beyond this, going into complecated things. But for the first time, I actually see a good, basic tutorial that starts from scartch. Which will most definatley be helpful. Although you could have made it look better then what it did, it looked good enough to be helpfull, but where is the music? All tutorials have music! Anyway, nice tutorial.

I like this game, again its another simple, but game. One question though: why is it that every music based game as to be like DDR? Anyway there wasent alot of things to critizise in this game, in ways of the graphics since everything looked sleek and nice, but there wasent exactley alot of things that blew me away ether. A better control scheme would be nice, since X dosent work that well with me, why didint you just choose space to shoot? Anyway, a good game, but nothing spectacualar.

Well its nice to see a simple game like this made in flash, and in AS no less. As good as that is, it isnt that much fun. Im sure it took alot of work to make this, but whats the point of it doesent look good? Or if it dosent keep players entertained? It didint entertain me at all. Maybe makeing the menus a bit better looking, and the background actually be a background. The msn tictactoe is better then this, I dont even understand why this has such a high score. Poor game.

I don't like your first point: "What's the point if it doesn't look good?" You are absolutely wrong about that. The first gamees were text based. You think they looked that great? However, your second point, that it didn't entertain you, is totally valid. I've truly failed at the most important part of a game: to make it fun. The improvements you suggested are only graphical, and have nothing to do with the game itself. If you're that much of a graphics hog, just watch a movie and stop playing games altogether. Judge it by its interactivity, not how it looks.

I suggest you play a little Zork. It's a fun game.

This "game" is poor at best. Quiz games are meant to be fun little things you do, because they are easy and have a nice ending. This didint have ether. Some of the questions were just odd, and incredibly difficult, while others were super easy. The graphics were also poor at best, you need to really polish off the question screen and you should be fine. You ever thought of actually putting in some animation? Like the person who asks the question? Nonetheless this is a poor game, and it wasent fun at all.

Well...

Well, the first thing that comes to mind is this: Arent scene creators just oversized dress ups? The only differnce being the background and being able to have more then one there. I liked the countless options you have, you really went all out having every weapon there is. The real major problem with this is definatley the lag, you really need to get rid of that or this is just going to remain as good as it is. I know this isnt Krinkels style, but why not color? Why not make everything a color instead of just grey and a little bit of green here and there. Anyways, an okay submission.

Well..

Wow, I didint even know these questions and I got them all right. You need to make it alot harder then what it is. Not to mention alot more questions. One thing I do like is the headshot animation. The rest is just a bunch of crap, really. You didint even get anything at the end ether, so what is the point of doing this quiz? Poor at the best.
