What am I supposed to do?

Unless you switched this submission, which would be annoying, what am I supposed to do in this submission? Some letters come on screen, and then I die, not to mention I get a crude and terribly spelled I died message. Needs a lot of work.

A bit the same.

One would think when you make a sequal that you make it a lot better. Sure in this submission there was more levels, but the spelling was still bad, there was no custimization and the graphics still were quite crude, not what you would call much of an improvement. Meh.

Given that there's 5-times the number of levels and the addition of red skears, I'm astonished that anyone would rate this lower than the original. Given that nothing became worse, it seems to me that this is clearly better.

Now this game definatley has potential, the idea of the game is neat, simple and fun to do. Although this one is short, more levels, custimization and possibly a highscores table would help this submission. Even though this game was short I had fun playing it, all in all, not a bad game it just needs some refining. And better spelling.

Not sure what you'd want to customise - the cursor? The graphics? There doesn't really seem to be a need.

I'm agreed on most other things and definitely the spelling.

[NSG001: 4 Bats, 1 Ball]

A bit dull.

Although this game is made well, the graphics are top notch, it seems like something is missing. That or the fact that the ball does slow down, even if you hit the sides of the paddles, it still ends up going slow. That leaderboard would be a good idea. All in all, a good fun game.

You're not meant to just hit it with the sides - you need to actually move the paddle WHILST hitting the ball. So you sorta 'swipe' at it.

Not bad.

I have to tell you that this submission is definatley made well. The menu is sleek, detailed and very nice to look at. And the general idea is fun to play and very easy to learn, making this game that much better. The graphics in general, despite being just an orb and such were very good, the background to the levels really served as a nice place, and really worked well with the rest of the game. The widespread highscores was also a must have touch if you can do it. Overall, a good work indeed, truly one of the better submissions out there.

Not bad.

Although this submission isn't bad, as stated by the previous review, this has been done quite a lot before. Not only that, but quite a bit better. Now that's not to say that this submission isn't a bad submission. It's helpfull for new people and everything is done right, with no mistakes. Except for that background, in some locations the text and the background don't really jive up well and it takes away from the overall presentation. Overall, well I can't say that this submission is bad, I just don't see the need for this submission.

[Big Beginner Tutorial]

Helpfull, but. ..

Although this is a helpfull tutorial by all means, something is missing. The effort isn't fully there, and I can see that by the spelling mistakes, not to mention the fact that you only worked on it for two days. Nontheless, the graphics were nice, they looked sleek and very techy, although the spelling mistakes really hurt the overall quality of it. Nontheless, the tutorials were quick and precise and that's good, since you don't want anyone to have any problems. Overall, this is definatley a helpfull submission, but the effort isn't totally there, and that hurts the submission.

Hey, thanks for the review. i only done this in two days because they two days were the weekend and therefor the only days i had time to actually make something. that would also explain the spelling mistakes :P

Ohh, Newgrounds.

Wow, I am really surprised at NG at the fact that as soon as they see a low file size they automatically give a zero. Nontheless, I gave this a four. Next time when you are submitting something like this, make sure you say "Ignore the file size". Nontheless the gameplay was fun in this submission. It was hard to learn even with the tutorials, and instructions. The graphics in the game were smooth and sleek and even the menus looked quite nice. Basically you made a solid game, this should have gotten daily first or second. Overall, very nice submission ignore the score it has, it is far better.

Thanks, the only reason the file size is small as it links to the actual game file, so when I update that I don't dont have to update the NG one as well, but I'll remember the "Ignore file size" bit. Anyway, thanks for your feedback :)

Well...

I have to be honest with you here, this wasn't in anyway interesting or fun, and I am surprised this got the score it has. Sure some of the stuff looks good, sleek and cool, but some of it also looks terrible, stupid and effortless. Like "Guy stuck in tree". I'm all up for the occasional fun flash, but when you make a game you need to provide the player with either, fun, or a good minute or two to waste, and that this flash did not provide. Overall, well the "Gameplay" was virtually non existent as was the fun with this "Game". The only thing it does have, is a poor score.

Interesting enough.

Although I am not a fan of puzzel based games, simply because they require heavy thought, which I don't feel like using :p. Nontheless this idea is quite orginal and unique. The programming is done really well and the game plays smooth and looks sleek and fantastic in general. The graphics really help out this submission and all in all it really is quite an amasing submission. Some sort of hint button or tutorial would probebley be better though, simply because of the instructions lack of help. Overall, good stuff I can't say that this is upper echilon stuff yet, but the potential is there.
